Typing Jobs from Home No Experience:- In this article, We Explain to you how to make money online, just by typing from the comfort of your own home.
Now with the internet, there exist so many new possibilities, when it comes to earning money from the internet. one of which is by simply typing things.
3 Ways to Make Money Online with Typing Jobs from Home No Experience 2024
There are 3 levels when it comes to making money from typing. with each Way, you can make more and more money.
Level 1: Transcription Jobs (Most Popular Transcription Websites)
Transcription websites are essentially websites where you listen to audio or watch a video. all you have to do is type out what’s being said in that piece of content.
believe it or not, there are a lot of websites out there that will pay you money for just Typing, listening to audio, or watching a video.
Now remember that this is only Level One, and you can make a lot more money with the next level. we’ll be going over, but let’s take a deeper look into transcription jobs.
1. Rev.com (One of The Best transcription websites)
One of the most popular transcription websites is a website called Rev.com.
This is a website that Many YouTubers pay a lot of people to transcribe and put subtitles on their videos because they run many different YouTube channels.
While you can make money transcribing things where you just type out what’s being said. you can make even more money by putting captions on things in which you time it with the video, and they even offer translated subtitles and captions.
Now to join Rev as a transcriptionist, all you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of their website and click join as a freelancer.
This is where you can send your application to Rev to become a transcriptionist.
Here You might want to know, how much could I realistically earn from doing this.
We can earn anywhere from 30 cents to $1.10 per minute of content that you transcribe.
Now let’s say it takes you two minutes to transcribe one minute. That means you could make upwards of $30 per hour for doing this.
Now, not everybody makes this much money. A lot of people make a lot less because it takes a bit longer to transcribe and do this.
Realistically, we’ve done a lot of research into this and looked at what people realistically make with transcription jobs, and it’s usually not as high as $30 per hour.
Now, the thing about Rev is that they don’t always accept people into their transcription program right away.
They sometimes even take a month or two to get back to new applications. But once you’re in, there can be a very heavy workload.
There are a lot of jobs that need to get done on Rev.
They also only pay exclusively through PayPal, so you need to make sure that you have a PayPal account.
2. Transcribeme.com (Highest Paying Transcribe or Typing Jobs from Home)
Rev is not the only company that offers this service and offers jobs to prospective people who want to make money typing.
There’s another website called transcribeme.com, and what sets transcribe apart from other transcription websites, is that they focus on shorter content.
This makes it a lot more manageable for prospective transcriptionists because they’re only going to be doing a short amount of audio.
According to their website, their pay rate hovers around $250 per month, starting from $15 to $20 per audio hour. But certain niches pay more than others.
For example, if you do medical or legal transcription jobs, their website claims you can make upwards of $60 to $70 per audio hour. This is quite a bit more than you find on a lot of other transcription websites.
Transcribeme.com also pays through PayPal, and they pay out weekly.
They accept applicants from all over the world, and one of the coolest parts about this website is that you can choose when you want to work and how much you want to work.
So it’s just picking and choosing what you want to work on, and then doing that and getting paid as a result.
Now, we’re not affiliated with Rev or Transcribeme whatsoever, so we’re not getting a commission to say any of these things.
We have just done a lot of research into the best ways of making money doing transcription jobs, and this is the information that I got. But as we mentioned earlier, you can make a lot more with Way two and even Way three that we’re going to be getting into.
But let’s continue with transcription jobs because they’re the easiest. They accept newcomers relatively fast, usually faster than Rev.com, and you’ll usually hear back from them in about a week or two after you complete their test.
It’s just a transcription test. They want to see that you can type accurately what’s being said in videos.
you may have noticed that with the websites we’ve gone over so far, they haven’t asked for any fancy college degrees, any fancy skills, or even any past experience to get started.

3. Scribie.com
Scribie.com is another transcription website that you can sign up for. They’ll give you a transcription test.
Once you pass that test, you can get started and start making money with them. They usually provide audio segments that are six minutes or less, so you don’t have to devote a ton of time to doing this.
Scribie pays only about $5 to $20 per audio hour, so maybe not as much as some of the other websites that we’re going over. But what’s cool is that once you get some experience with Scribie, you can level up by joining what’s called the reviewers team.
A reviewer simply highlights and corrects the mistakes of the initial transcriber and makes it all clean and looking good, and they can get paid upwards of $30 per audio hour that they do this. But to get this role, you do have to be at least 1% better than most of the other transcriptionists out there.
once you start delivering high-quality work, you can eventually get promoted. Again, you can withdraw your earnings via PayPal.
4. GoTranscript.com
Now let’s move on to a website called GoTranscript.com. Now, if you go to their website.
You’ll see that they’re offering transcription services in five different categories. So there are tons of different types of content to transcribe on GoTranscript, and if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can see an option that says work for transcriptionists.
They dish out up to 60 cents per audio minute. If you go on this page, you can see how much they pay.
The average monthly earnings on here are only about $150 per month, not a ton, and the top earners can rake in upwards of $1,215 per month. But you do have to put a lot of time into this, and that’s why all of these methods are still only level one.
But the cool thing about GoTranscript, they hire transcriptionists from all over the world.
They have a wide range of transcribing jobs in a variety of different languages.
What’s also cool is that they don’t just pay out through PayPal like some of the other services we went over. They also pay out through Payoneer, so you have another option there, which I would always like to have. Plus, you have flexibility.
You can choose tasks based on your availability, and you are in complete control.
5. SpeechPad.com
Another website to take a look at is called SpeechPad.com. Similar to some of the other transcription websites, they offer three different categories. Transcription, subtitles and captions, and transcription and translation.
They do it in a bunch of different languages, not just English. All you have to do is head straight to the bottom of the website where it says interested in signing up as a transcriber.
Cool as you can pick your jobs. You can earn anywhere from 25 cents to $2.50 per minute of transcription, and you can make a decent amount of money doing this.
It’s more than some of the other websites that we’ve gone over so far, and you can make a decent amount of money for our Way one of typing jobs.
You do have to be kind of fast on this website because other people will sign up and take jobs before you, so you do have to be kind of competitive and fast to accept jobs immediately and then start typing them as fast as you can.
6. 3playmedia.com
They offer transcription, captioning, translations, subtitles, audio descriptions, and even a unique live auto-captioning service.
To join 3playmedia, all you have to do is scroll to the bottom of their website and click freelance transcription jobs. To sign up, you have to go through a quick 15, 20-minute assessment to see if you’re fit to be able to do this.
You just showcase your transcription and editing skills in the assessment. People online say that they have a much quicker acceptance rate as opposed to some of the other services we have over so far.
Now, the exciting part here is that you can earn as much as $30 per hour with this service, and some people have even claimed to be making as much as $50 per hour.
There might be less work on this website compared to some of the other ones. They pay more to their transcriptionists, but they’re also charging more to prospective clients so they have a smaller client pool, and you may not get as many jobs on this website.
In my opinion, We would just join several of these websites if we want to do Level 1 of making money by typing, or by being a transcriptionist, but all of these websites are only Level 1.
Level 2: Make money typing by being a freelancer.
Now it’s time to jump into Level 2 for making money typing, which is being a freelancer.
This includes signing up for websites like Fiverr.com, Freelancer, and Upwork.com, and then applying for jobs for people looking to write things like blog articles, YouTube scripts, or any type of writing online, applying for those jobs, so you can type out stuff, maybe even something that you have an interest or a passion or some knowledge in to help people.
You can make a lot more money doing these freelancing jobs than just being a transcriptionist, for example. That’s why it’s Level Two.
level 3: Create a Blog and Make Youtube Channel
Now let’s jump up to level 3 for typing jobs, which is typing something that you own.
The last two levels were typing things for other people, and you can get paid as a result for that, but at the end of the day, you do not own that content.
You have to ask yourself, why are these companies and blogs and YouTube channels willing to pay so much money for typing? that’s because it makes them more money as a result.
The reason many Youtubers paid so much money to transcriptionists and other people to caption Their videos and do all that is because they make so much more money from the results of that work on their YouTube channels They make millions of dollars per year.
So it stands to reason that if you wanted to make as much money as you possibly could typing, why not type some stuff for yourself? Why not start a blog or a YouTube channel? Why not start your own online business that you type for? And one of the best ways of doing this, in my opinion, is to create a faceless niche YouTube channel or Create a Business Blog.
These are YouTube channels or blogs where you never have to show your face or step in front of a camera, but you can still potentially get millions of views and make a lot of money from them.
