No don’t think Uber eats yet, instead just gather all the family kitchen worms and get your hands dirty making a homemade pizza. Relax about the recipe; we hereby like to share our special recipe, tips, and steps on how to make homemade pizza for family night.
Recipe for the Homemade Pizza
- 1 sachet of dry yeast
- 1 mug of 110-degrees F water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 cups of all- purpose flour.
- 1 to 2 teaspoon of olive oil
- Extra flour to use for rolling the dough out on.
- 1-2 drop of gel for food coloring
- Melt the yeast on medium size bowl with warm water and leave to rest about 5 minutes.
- Add the all-purpose flour on the yeast water, season with salt, and 1 or 2 teaspoon of olive oil
- You may use your hands or a fork to mix the dough until it forms a ball.
- Knead the dough over a board or tray flavored with dry flour.
- Sip the medium size bowl with olive oil and then set the dough in there
- Wrap moist clothe over the bowl and place on a hot area to trigger the rising process. This process can only last for an hour or two to allow proper uninterrupted rising.
- Spur a teaspoon of tomato sauce on top of the dough.
- Complement it with grated mozzarella cheese.
- Enhance with herbs and topping.
- Cook under a heat of 450-degree and the process will last for 10-15 minutes.
Steps to make the Homemade a success
Step 1: Getting started with the preparation
Coat a medium size bowl with olive oil. Mix about 110 degrees F water, should feel like your bath water, with sugar and dry yeast. When the yeast blends with the sugar it should make the dough upsurge! In a separate, mix salt and flour. Then you must have a knife, a fork, a cutting board, a rolling pen, and a pizza pan. You need these tools on the other steps.
Step 2: Make an open space in the middle of the dough
Make an open space in the bowl containing the salt and flour and add the yeast, pour a teaspoonful of olive oil and use a fork to mix the wet with the dry parts.
Step 3: Mold the dough
Pleat the dough over itself in half and press it forward down with the heels of your palms. Continue doing this for about ten to fifteen minutes over a floured board. Keep tearing a portion of the dough and stretch it. If the dough break in your fingers then carry on until it forms gluten and can stretch without breaking.
Step 4: Put a plastic around the dough
Place the dough in a bit oily bowl and wrap it with a plastic. The wrap should be kept in a warm area to trigger the dough to rise and double its size. The process of rising should take about 1 to 2 hours and you should use a marker throughout the process to circle the plastic for the size of the dough.
Step 5: Confirm if dough is ready
Make a routine check up on the dough, but you will know it’s ready when it leaves an indentation when you poke it.
Step 6: Distribute the dough
Use a knife to distribute when the dough is done rising. The size of your pizza will depend on how large are the pieces you cut. Place on a plate and cover with a wet clothe. Let the pieces respite until they leave an indent when you poke them.
Step 7: Form the dough
Dash some semolina on a pizza pen for a proper separation. Place the ball of or piece of the dough and use your hands or rolling pin to spread it all around. Add more semolina for proper separation. Keep pulling the dough to the edges of the pan to ensure an even thickness and a thin center. This will also form the shape of the dough. Add a cornmeal on the pan for a crispy bottom crust with some extra flavor.
Step 8: Dress the pizza and bake
Dress and season the top of the dough with your family favourite ingredients and launch on a 500- degrees F stove for a maximum 10 to 15 minutes.
